Zoo Tails

In the 2 1/2 months since Ezra has been home we have done lots of fun things.  There's been Chuck E. Cheese, Will's birthday, Halloween, visits with family, trips to the aquarium and Dollywood, overnight stays in a hotel, swimming and the list goes on and on and on...

We had the chance to tag along with Will on a field trip to the zoo.  We met up with his class and some friends and had a great day!  It was a little cool in the morning, but it turned out to be a beautiful day!

Waiting patiently (at least in this photo!)

Those crazy kids!

And since we apparently can't get enough animals we also took a trip to the petting zoo!  There is a super fun zoo in a neighboring town that has everything from non-petables (is that a word?) like tigers and snakes to kid-friendly animals like deer, goats, ducks, and much more!  The boys had a great time!

He's kind of cute...

The goats were hungry

Definitely the highlight of the day...all of the kids chased the cat!

And a zonkey for good measure!

Dang

I guess time really does fly when you are having fun!  I CANNOT believe that it's been a month since I've last posted.  I really don't have an excuse besides this whole 2 kid thing is loud, busy and messy!  :o)

We had a great November and a relaxing Thanksgiving break.  All is well around here...we're just getting ready for Christmas!  Will and Ezra continue to be doing well together.  We're so blessed to have such good boys.

Here are a few pictures:

Something Is a Little Fishy...

If you have followed our blog (the old one) for any length of time you know that we love to go to the aquarium.  It just seemed fitting to take our newest buddy to one of our favorite places.  I don't think he was disappointed!

Boo!  Which one is the scariest?  :o)

Here fishy, fishy

Happy Halloween!

We started out our festivities on Thursday night by gutting and carving our pumpkin.  Will and Ezra were fully involved in the whole process---even pulling the "guts" out.

Friday night we traveled to East Tennessee to visit our families and to participate in some trick-or treating.

Arrrrghn't I cute?

Best buddies!

Both boys had a great Halloween!  Again, I am convinced that Ezra thinks that America is the best place ever!  In the short time he's been home we've been to Chuck E Cheese twice (birthday parties), celebrated Will's birthday and dressed up for Halloween.  He jumps right in and goes with the flow!  We're so blessed with 2 awesome boys!

A Day on the Farm

We recently ventured out to a fun pumpkin farm.  We had a ton of fun playing and choosing our pumpkins.  Ezra wasn't too sure what to think about all of the action and was a bit reserved (which really isn't his style), but perked up enough to enjoy the hayride and pumpin picking.  It was a great (but HOT!) day on the farm...

Guess who won?

Jumping on the air pillow

King(s) of the mountain

The favorite activity, by far, was the pedal cars.  The boys would race and get back in line to race again.

The leader of the pack

The winner!
